German thrashers EXTINCT, who formed back in 2003 and have built up a growing following over the last few years through numerous live shows, have new material in the can after their debut “Pain Palace” (2013) and their 2021 EP “Downward Spiral“! INTO DARK is a Polish black metal band formed in 2016, in own way experimenting with modern form of the genre, deeply rooting itself in atmosphere of nostalgia, disease and horror.
After 6 years of silence band is going to release new EP. Music was recorded, mixed and mastered by Przemysław Nowak at Impressive-Art Studio (Asgaard, Odraza, Outre, Devilish Impressions). Cover artwork was done by Piotr Kiełb. EP titled ‘I, Glance’ will be released digitally and on CD May 26, 2023. Pre-order will be available soon at Bandcamp.
Band commentary: ‘With our music on this EP, we were trying to catch Glance on state of darkness wrapped in depression, anger and somber lights of upcoming dawn.‘

Inner Dimension is a song about realizing the dualities of light and dark, specifically about indulging in what may be considered a curse and turning it into a tool for your advantage as a unique and powerful individual.
Lenax is a solo black metal band based in the Nashville area. With collaborators ranging as far away as Spain, Greece, and Ukraine, they have been able to accelerate my project while also bringing in new creativity. I am currently crafting a full length album called ‘Infection’ due out in December of this year. The album has a conceptual theme of man’s primal urge for personal freedom told through metaphors ranging from war to cosmic horror.
