ROGUE STATE is a “NO-SCHOOL” Italian hardcore band influenced by the heavy sound of stoner rock and doom and from the heavy riffs and the devastating fury of hardcore. Composed of members and former members of UFOMAMMUT / PENTAGRAM / JILTED / CATHERER / BURNING DEFEAT / PERMANENT SCAR, they formed in 2012. Their first album “Poetry Is Not For Me” was released in 2016 in 500 copies on red vinyl co-released by Green records/Shove records. They played many shows in Italy together with Indigesti, Tragedy, Infection Code, Blu Vomit, Motron, Suicideforce, Svetlanas and others. “The law never apologizes” contains 8 new tracks recorded by Andrea Mazza at the Sonic Factory studio, Spinetta M.go (AL). Mixed by Stefano Tocci at Ampire Studio in Pistoia and mastered by Dejan Podobnik at the Master of Kaos studio in Amsterdam in 2021. The cd will be released on September 4th via Planet K Records in CD jewel-case and digital download formats

Finnish Viitasaari based melodic death/doom band Shadecrown released their third single ‘Slivers” from their upcoming third studio album Solitarian which is set to be released on September 17th via Inverse Records.
Songwriter Saku Tammelin comments: ” “Slivers” is straightforward and one of the fastest songs on the album. It’s a story about emotionally and physically abusive person whose victims survived and moved on in their lives.”
Shadecrown (founded in 2012) is a melodic death metal band from the heart of Finland. The band consists of Jari Hokka on vocals, Tomi Tikka & Joonas Vesamäki on guitars, Saku Tammelin on keyboards, Janne Salmelin on bass & backing vocals and Kalle Varonen on drums. So far the band has released 1 demo (ST), 1 EP (Chained) and 2 full-lenght albums “Agonia” (2016) and “Riven” (2019). Third full-lenght album “Solitarian” will be released on September 17th 2021 via Inverse Records..
Austrian punks Missstand are in no way strangers to the pages of this zine. After I watched and listened to their fantastic show at now defunct Tepih na paleti festival in Slovenia couple of years ago, I interviewed the guys for this zine. Now, I am happy being able to listen to new record that is out for a week or so. This time there are 13 new songs and boy do they sound great. Missstand play an energy bomb of fast and melodic punk with super lyrics in German and occasional in English that are smart mix of personal and political coupled with dual vocals and great guitar work. I don´t know how to explain this but the music of this band always makes me want to pump my fist in the air and hug the sweaty kid in the pit next to me. This is punk rock par excellence. My favorite songs are: Bonjour Tristesse, Heute Alles and Morgen Nichts.
