NEW single and video clip “Who We Are” from SERENITY BROKEN!

Serenity Broken is an Alternative Metal / Hard Rock band from Athens, Greece that formed in 2010.

In 2012 their first full length album entitled “Commercial Suicide” hit the road and gathered dozens of amazing reviews, airplays from press and media across the globe and TV appearances in domestic channels.

In 2013 the band released an acoustic  EP “Live ‘n’ Unplugged” and in 2015 the digital single “Savior” mastered by the great Jens Bogren (Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Opeth, Arch Enemy), prepared for Commercial Suicide’s successor. After some intense preparation and hard work the band released its second full length in 2017, entitled “RE/Define” with the almighty George Kollias of the death metal pioneers Nile behind the drums, which immediately gained some impressive reviews and scores from media around the world. “RE/Define” shines with an excellent mix & mastering again by the Finnish sound guru Ahti Kortelainen ( Sentenced, Sonata Arctica, Nightfall) at Tico Tico Studios. After the Covid madness the band released a new single called “Who We Are” in 2022 as the first part of a 3 track single series. The second one will hit soon and hard. Beware.

Stoner Post-Punk band In The Rosemary Dreams release new album “Day After Night Before”

On their new album “Day After Night Before”, the Brazilian trio In The Rosemary Dreams dives head first into their proposal. Merging Stoner-rock with Post-punk. A somber atmosphere persists throughout the album, perhaps due to vocalist Anderson Lima’s deep voice like Mark Lanegan or Peter Murphy or the existentialist theme of the lyrics. But the dancing grooves between drums and bass, added to the powerful guitar riffs, bring a unique contrast to the trio.

“Hate the Hit” opens the album with a feeling of urgency. All These Thorns (the first single presented) pours tons of weight but doesn’t sound predictable or exaggerated like “The Myth of The Innocence”. “Digital Jesus”, “The Wave” and “Waste” have a mature and captivating balance. “Why do you feel so tired?” It has a more rhythmic tempo but without seeming corny or out of place in the context of the album. In “Secrets upside down” it seems to mix all the band’s influences and inspirations in a single song.

A work for attentive ears and open minds, but also for those who just want to listen and dance to different rock ‘n’ roll. For those who like Queens of the Stone Age, Bauhaus, Joy Division and Royal Blood.

Biography

Locus Amoenus started in 2015 as a studio duo between Carchost and Misaer, producing a cold and indistinct, atmospherically blackened form of Doom Metal. Slow, majestic, and compellingly emotional, their bleakness should appeal to anyone who enjoys their Black Metal taken down to more stately tempos. Nowadays, Misaer has been the leading entity behind Locus Amoenus, which gradually turned into a Black Funeral Doom Metal project.

‘t Gloem Heil is a bleak listen. It’s the constant feeling of misery lurking in places it should not be, resulting in the inevitable act of surrendering to your personal “worgengel” (angel of death). The EP contains two new tracks accompanied with one live track recorded at Dutch Doom Days, 2016.

Tracklist:

1. ‘t Gloem Heil (10:14)
2. Daar de Worgengel Wacht (14:13)
3. Thus Was It Written (live) (9:10)
