There are 8 fast and strong songs on this beauty. The songs are raw and fast, but there are some catchy melodic undertones with singer Amber doing the melody, shouting and making a difference with the fantastic voice whether more reciting or screaming, the vocals are main drive behind great guitar work. The songs make pretty dark atmosphere within the listener but it is great they do so. My favorite tracks on the album are: Hold Fast, Bare Your Teeth, Fight For It All. Members grew up going to shows and playing in various bands in the Tri-state hardcore / punk / oi scene. South Class Veterans released a 4 track ep on Skin Collector that is now out of press. South Class Veterans is proud to be releasing their full length debut – HELL TO PAY – on Demons Run Amok, and to bring their own blend of oi and punk rock to the world.
Like Torches from Stockholm, Sweden are back with their new record on Victory Records. These Swedes have progressed since their last release and here is the new record with 10 songs mixing melodic hardcore with pop punk and even prog elements in some songs making it one very pleasurable listen for us. The songs are memorable, flowing and there are no fillers on this one for sure. What is best, I can relate myself in many of the song titles and lyrics. My personal favorites on this one are The Guilt of Surviving, Silver Lines and the title track. I can hardly wait to see this band play live, because I believe they are just fantastic live with this and also older material. This one is a keeper, so go listen and get this one.
