Majustice is an international (Brazil, Japan, USA) power metal band formed in 2021. This is their debut full length opus containing ten songs. The music of Majustice is power heavy metal made just the way I like it! That being more leaning into eighties side of things reminding me a lot of old Helloween, Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, latter not only by power metal but also some prog elements here and there. But, I mostly do love my power true metal fast, strong and melodic like in ‘Temple Of The Divided World’ with such sweet and great melody coming through my speakers making my metal heart flutter with joy and my skin crawl with pleasure. Vocals are high pitched, but not too intense, change quickly too more lower octaves and remind me of Kiske, Kai Hansen and Ralf Scheepers in one, making Iuri Sanson excellent vocalist and somebody to count on in power metal scene. Piano and keyboard parts are in the background but they belong to the song structures rightfully and they are superbly done. There is also a ballad on this album, being ‘You Rock My World’ just proving how metal ballads are best ballads in the world. But, this is mainly fast and melodic power metal like it should be done. Great debut opus indeed!
Germany’s Majesty unfortunately disbanded after having played their farewell show at this record release show at the end of April. I am saying unfortunately and sadly, because this is their tenth full length opus containing twelve songs, one being intro to the story. Majesty play everything I love about this kind of heavy metal. They are fast and energetic, they are melodic and hitting hard with proud warrior metal lyrics and wear their hearts in the right places. These bunch of songs just ask for being sang along to, pump your metal horns and fists in the air and hug a smelly brother in the pit next to you. Heavy hitters like ‘Back to Attack’, ‘Glorious Warriors’, ‘Never Kneel’ will bring your pride and metal heart will beat faster upon listening to these songs, no matter how maybe hard and harsh your day is. That is magic in the metal, isn’t it? Vocals are great and soar in the higher octaves but stay low enough to fit into complex song structures and hit us with one metal gloved punch after another. I am sorry about the fact Majesty disbanded, because they were awesome. Nice testament to great band!
