Kakva je ovo godina za nova izdanja regionalne scene! Slovenski veterani Wasserdicht su se vratili i to novim albumom koji sadrži intro plus četrnaest pjesama. Muzika je vjerujem uz stare kultne stvari koje su izdali 90-ih najbolje što ovaj bend nudi. Wasserdicht sviraju žestoki hardcore punk koji na momente graniči s grindom i crustom uz dva odlična sirova vokala braće Marka i Mihe. Trojac rastura ovim albumom jer uz žestinu imaju i catchy melodije na gitarama podsjećajući me na skandinavski d beat i old school death metal. Album ima također odličan cover albuma i produkciju snimljenu kod Filipa u studiju Depth. Tekstovi su angažirani uz određenu dozu metafore i osobne perspektive. Nisu dugi, taman koliko treba. Meni osobno su najbolje stvari na ovom albumu: Ni mi žal, Noč Vampirja, Rojstvo tirana i naj hit Pred Nevihto. Odličan album i odličan bend uživo, gledao sam ih prije kojih dva i pol mjeseca kod nas u Prostoru i materijal s ovog albuma ide uživo ko budali šamar, odlično.
Dugo nisam otišao na neki pristojan gig ovdje kod nas, pa rekoh sebi vrijeme je da odem na ovu punk/oi/hardcore veselicu. U dvorištu Prostora skupilo se već dosta ljudi koji su se bavili uobičajenim punk ritualima prije giga. Na meniju večeras bili su varaždinski BKD, te dva benda iz Slovačke.
Koncert je po starom dobrom običaju kasnio kojih sat vremena u odnosu na satnicu, ali to nije bed, pa su prvi na stage izašli varaždinski ojkači BKD, sad već veteranski bend s gomilom koncerata u nogama i svaki put mi ih je zabavno pogledati i poslušati, pogotovo zajebanciju između pjesama. Set lista je već bila standardna, svi hitovi su bili odsvirani, čak je pao i bis. Ekipa ispred stagea se dobro zabavljala i pjevala i đuskala s bendom. Basistica/vokal Ida je odlično ispeljala koncert iako mi je kasnije rekla da se muči s upalom uha cijelo vrijeme.
Tada je došao čas za prve goste večeri, to je slovački hardcore bend TRUE REASON. Uh, njihov set je bio prava energetska bomba. Sviraju malo moderniju inačicu hardcorea s primjesama street punk korijena i old schoola, pjevač i gitarist imaju skoro jednako teksta, odnosno dva su vokala, a bend je zvučao profesionalno i energično kao da svira pred deset tisuća ljudi, a ne malim klubom, publika ih je srdačno prihvatila, a skontao sam i dosta tekstova i naslova stvari, pošto pjevaju na slovačkom jeziku, ali je sličan hrvatskom. Ne znam točno, ali brijem da je njihov set trajao kojih 45 ili 50 minuta.
Kao zadnji bend večeri nastupili su Začiatok konca, također iz Slovačke, koji sviraju street punk/oi taman onako po mojoj mjeri, podosta melodično i sa dosta old school uleta i nešto hardcorea. Poneki put su me podsjetili na Booze & Glory po stilu. Svirali su kao trio, jer je gitarist/vokal objasnio da imaju još jednog gitarista koji je ostao doma, jer mu se rodilo dijete. Ovaj bend me oduševio, kao i podosta ekipe koja je bila ispred bine, te naprosto nije dala bendu da siđe sa stagea, pa su odsvirali čini mi se tri bisa. Gig je bio baš dobra zabava i drago mi je da sam otišao i pogledao i poslušao ove bendove i pozdravio se sa nekim njuškama koje volim.

Formed in 2014, LANDMVRKS signed a record deal with Arising Empire in 2018 to release their second studio albumFantasy. The record followed the band’s independently released debut album Hollow in 2016, which was entirely produced by FlorentSalfati (vocals) and NicolasExposito (guitar).
Continuing to build their name with their own fresh take on metalcore, the release of Fantasy saw LANDMVRKS travel the world, playing in Japan, embarking on several headline tours and supporting While She Sleeps and Stray From The Path on a UK/European tour.
While on the road, LANDMVRKS focused on writing material for their third album Lost In The Waves, released in 2021 via Arising Empire. Recorded at Salfati‘s studio (Homeless Records), the production of Lost In The Waves was the band’s most accomplished and organic to date, showcasing their highly distinctive and uncompromised sound.
